Placing over $1 bn in financing in his career, John specializes in structuring financing opportunities on both the permanent and construction side of the capital stack finding different ways to achieve higher yields through development and financing.

John’s focus and expertise are underwriting complex deals and creating solutions to multifaceted debt/equity structures. His background is in the commercial and hospitality finance division, approving equity injections for real estate acquisitions.

Starting his Real Estate career as an analyst for Empire Capital and a broker for VCPRE, John’s major focus was underwriting complex deals and creating solutions to multifaceted debt/equity structures in both positions.

Since 2017, John has been serving an Investment Officer and Head of Capital Markets at Capodagli Property Company and still maintains that position today. His main focus is structuring and underwriting all new investments, while also structuring all debt and equity for the company. John is also the Principal of Capodagli Capital, an opportunistic open-ended fund that focuses on all asset types nation wide.

John continues to propel forward the exponential growth path that CPC is on through his strategic financing placement and creative deal structuring.

John holds a Master’s Degree in Real Estate from New York University and a a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from West Virginia University.

He is an avid golfer, loves to travel, and enjoys spending most of his free time being active outdoors with his son and Labrador Retriever.
